Stay at the Resort

In existence since 1952, Ross Lake Resort is nestled in the heart of the North Cascade Mountains and is comprised of fifteen floating cabins and a marina. As visitors to the National Park increase every year, so does the popularity of our floating mountain oasis.

With 15 cabins and a rental season of Early-June through October 31st, we do book up quickly. But don't worry, there are a few ways you can visit the resort in the future. To get a cabin reservation you must join the lottery list the year you are looking to stay.

Getting a reservation to stay at the resort can take flexibility, but there are other ways to visit and enjoy the lake. Learn more about Camping on the lake or Day Visits.

Please note: Ross Lake Resort has "gone viral" on many social media platforms in the last few years. As a result, we have many people who sign-up for the lottery but who end up not following through on their interest. We appreciate your patience as this often requires us to work through hundreds of requests in order to fill a single reservation.

Enter Our Accommodation Lottery

Whenever we have an opening, we pull directly from our lottery submissions. Here are some tips...

  • Sign up for our accommodation lottery - Resort staff will fill all open reservations from the lottery list and match entries with available accommodations. We recommend signing up every calendar year. A target of 60% of our lodging reservations are reservable one year in advance upon checkout, and a target of 40% of our reservation openings are filled via our lottery list from our website. All reservations cancelled throughout the season are also booked from the lottery list.

  • Be specific - We filter our submissions based on what we have available and what you're looking for giving everyone a fair shot! The more specific you can be, the better. If you have more flexibility in your request, add that information to the comments section on your submission form.

  • Be persistent - Be diligent in adding your name to the lottery each year. We also encourage those with flexible schedules to keep an eye on our Availability Table below for last-minute cancellations.

  • Be mindful - The lottery list is cleared on December 31st of each year. Parties will need to re-submit their interest for the upcoming season beginning on January 1st. We will work to fill all open reservations in May of each year.

Check Our Last-Minute Availability Table

We receive last-minute cancellations all throughout our season. With such short notice, it's not always possible for us to fill the space from our lottery list. Use our Availability Table below to take advantage of last-minute opportunities to stay with us!

Openings are filled on a first come first serve basis. Any last-minute availability will be listed in green on the table below.
